Tuition and Fees

 

Tuition 2012 - 2013

 

Kindergarten – Fifth Grade: $16,900
Sixth Grade - Eighth Grade: $18,900

Application Fee - $100

 

Auxiliary Fees Grades K - 5

Smart Tuition Management Program - $75*
Parent Participation - $400 (or 20 hours)*
Fall Environmental Science Fieldtrip - $375 (5th grade only)
Spring Challenge Course/Team building Fieldtrip - $325 (5th grade only)

Auxiliary Fees Grades 6 - 8

Smart Tuition Management Program - $75*
Parent Participation - $400 (or 20 hours)*
Fall Environmental Science Fieldtrip - $375 (6th grade only)
Spring Challenge Course/Team Building Fieldtrip - $325
Yosemite Hiking Trip - $550 (7th and 8th grades only)

* Parent Participation and Smart Tuition Management fees are billed once per family. Parent Participation fees are credited back as hours are worked.

** The school provides a home and school set for each student. Upon return of the home set in good condition a $200 textbook refund will be issued.

 

Daycare Fees
Daycare - Pre-purchased plans ($7.00, $8.00, $9.00 per hour)
Drop-in daycare is billed at $10 per hour.
After-school activity classes and fees vary by semester.

 

Payment Schedule
Upon acceptance of the enrollment contract, a nonrefundable $3,000 deposit is required. After the deposit is subtracted from the tuition, the remaining balance may be payed in full or divided into nine monthly installments with payments beginning August 1st and ending April 1st. Tuition payments are due on the first (1st) of each month and are considered late by the tenth (10th). There is a $25 late payment fee and a $25 fee for all returned checks.

 

Auxiliary fees are due July 1st. Other than daycare and incidental charges, all accounts must be paid in full prior to April 10, 2013.

 

The Academy uses Smart Tuition, an online tuition management service, for all billing. Parents are required to enroll with Smart Tuition in order to make their payments. Registration forms will be provided. Payments may be made by check, Money Order, Automatic Deduction, Credit Card, or by phone. All tuition, fees and most incidental charges throughout the year will be posted to Smart Tuition.
