DAYCARE PROGRAM
The Academy daycare program offers children many exciting opportunities for learning and fun in a safe and loving environment. Led by two daycare supervisors, our dedicated staff is ready to provide homework help, answer general questions or invite children to fun and games. In addition to free play and study hall, children have the opportunity to participate in the "Activity of the Day." These fun and educational endeavors include jump-rope club, chess club, sewing club, art/music, story time, and "Friday Fun" which has a monthly theme and includes exciting contests. The daycare program makes use of our own facilities as well as those in and around our neighborhood. Our daycare staff encourages students to take leadership roles in daycare, whether they wish to serve snacks or read to their peers at story time. Friendships blossom among students across age groups and children gain an extended family in the relationships they build with the students and staff.
Daycare students may arrive at the school at 7 a.m. and stay as late as 6 p.m. Each child is provided with an afternoon snack and milk but needs to bring their own morning snack and lunch. For Summer Daycare, please refer to the Summer Program.
